I have the distinct pleasure of being one of the founders of Alchemy. Our first two years have been mindblowing and came together as the product of enormous work by all involved. We made Alchemy a magical space, and we're looking forward to outdoing ourselves again this year -- with YOUR help! This year, in addition to my role on the Board, I am again the Event Lead -- managing the group of team leads and the overall function of the burn. I view the work I put into Alchemy as my gift back to the community and that gift is freely given. As for my burner cred, my first burn was Transformus in 2005. Since then I've hit Transformus three times, PDF once, Element twice, Flipside once, Afterburn once, and that Thing In The Desert three times. I will always burn the man. As for my managerial cred, I'm a professional manager of technical geeks by day. I hold Bachelor's Degress in both Computer Science and Philosophy and a Masters of Business Administration. I'm passionate about practical applications of the ten principles in every day life. I am forever changed by my experience at burns and I hope you are, too.

In 2005, I attended my first burn ever- Transformus. Prior to going,
I read everything I could get my hands on about Transformus and the 10
Principles. I had a fantastic time, and was instantly addicted.
I have been to many burns since that point, including PDF in Delaware, Transformus, Element in South Carolina, Flipside and Burning Man (three times and counting). I had the honor and privilege of helping create Alchemy in 2007 and 2008, and I look forward to what 2009 holds!

My first burn experience was in the summer of '05. In '07, I became
addicted to playa dust. In between and beyond, mix in meeting more
glorious people and traveling to other regionals....and you have one
crazed art and burn fanatic. I am not sure my view of the world will
ever be quite the same.
